BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) Porsche design P’9883 will be shipped in Canada towards the end of November. It will come with the price tag of $2050 CDN, says a report from Mobile Syrup.

The Canadian company along with Porsche design showcased the P’9883 design in September and said that it would be shipped across the world in the beginning of October 2014. The phone is available in various countries now, and is also available on company’s official website.

No more wait for Canadian fans

According to the recent reports, for the eager Canadians, the phone will be available this month and it’s just a matter of couple of weeks. BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) website claims that Porsche P’9883 is made of premium material such as sapphire glass for camera lens, forged stainless steel for the Porsche design floating logo and chassis along with a special glass weave technology for the rear-end.

The P’9883 comes with a 3.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display of 720×720 pixels or ~328 ppi pixel density, which is impressive enough. The Canadian smartphone maker has taken care to add QWERTY keyboard, which covers the remaining space. Keyboard is carved out of glass-like keys and is sturdy due to the use of rigid synthetic material and a special 3D-effect with silver font characters. Porsche comes with primary camera of 8 megapixels with 3264×2448 pixels along with features such as auto-focus, LED flash, geotagging, face detection and HDR. Secondary camera is of 2 megapixel.

First BlackBerry phone on OS 10.3

Porsche will be the first phone to operate on 10.3 OS that is slightly different from the previous version. There is a “blue circle” that marks the most commonly used feature in any menu enabling an email compose shortcut in the email hub or the shutter icon with camera. Other than the operating system, there are various small changes made in the Porsche designed handset such as PD-styled clock face, loading screen and system font.

The Smartphone is packed with the Li-Ion 2100 mAh battery that will power the phone to run one full-day. P’9883 is mounted on Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chipset, a Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor, Adreno 225 GPU with 2GB RAM.

And trolls apple/google/samsung news to bash BlackBerry. His purpose is to lower public opinion of BlackBerry. He is clearly being paid to do this or stands to lose a lot of money if BlackBerry shares go up because of his possible short/put position.

  4. Blackberry why would you write Porsche design on the device? even though that device looks like a glorified Q10 that flopped, writing Porsche design on the device made it even less appealing.
