Big Update On Braun Strowman

It’s a no secret that the company is high on Braun Strowman. He has been one of the only few bright spots on the Monday Night Raw’s roster as the company has shown willingness to push him as a monster heel. The plans were for him to defeat Roman Reigns at the Extreme Rules pay per view so he could become the number one contender at the Great Balls of Fire PPV for Lesnar’s Universal Championship.

Those plans went down the drain after he hurt his elbow and was forced to miss a significant amount of time. The initial reports suggested that he is going to be away from the ring and action for 4-8 weeks. Then, WWE came out and said that he is going to miss at least six months because of that elbow injury.

Now, we know that WWE’s timetable for his return was part of the show. The initial prognosis was the correct one as the company wants to make him look strong with his comeback before they said that he would. Right now, Strowman is cleared to make his in-ring return, but the belief is that he won’t make it until the writers are able to fit him in in the storyline.

The plan is probably to bring him back after Great Balls of Fire PPV event in order to build up the match between Strowman and Lesnar for Summerslam pay per view. Still, we have a lot of time before the build for the Summerslam begins so the company can always change their minds and stay with Samoa Joe as Lesnar’s opponent for their biggest show of the summer.
