8THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS
Many claim that this movie is Tim Burton’s best piece of work. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) is a gorgeous stop-motion animation-musical about the king of Halloween Town called Jack Skellington. Jack accidentally stumbles upon Christmas Town where he sees children playing and where no one is dead. He is perplexed by that.
Jack is bored by the same old celebrations every year and decides to take part in Christmas. His goal is to bring the warmth and joy back to Halloween Town. However, vampires, ghosts, and werewolves aren’t used to that and don’t like the idea. He announces that they plan to take over Christmas while he usurps Santa Claus.
This movie is truly a genuine piece of work, and it is perfect for those who are looking for something different. It is really an interesting take on Christmas and holidays as such.
