It is more than fair to say that Bayley’s character hasn’t been successful on Monday Night Raw since she made her main roster debut. It really isn’t her fault that she can’t find the groove that she had in NXT as the writers haven’t done her any favors, putting her in bad segments and making her look like a coward. Bayley has been bullied by everybody on the main roster and she never stroke back which isn’t good if you want to build up your character and play an important role in the company.
That is why many fans are really tired of her right now. It seems that this girl is not getting the kind of reaction that she used to when she was in the NXT Women’s Championship. She went from being a hero and a true babyface that nobody ever thought about turning heel to someone that is so cringy on WWE TV.
Bayley was recently on a Stone Cold Steve Austin Podcast, and she talked about turning heel. When she was watching wrestling back in the day, she loved those heels that looked miserable. She always liked those people that looked like they didn’t want to be there, that look cocky because they think they are just better than everybody else. That is an interesting take as we don’t see many characters like that anymore. But, if she were to turn heel, that is the kind of character that she would like.
“I don’t know, it was something about that, like, I always told myself too; if I were to ever be a heel, I want to make myself so miserable because that is one of the most hateable things, I think.”
