Studio Pierrot is famous for several worldwide popular anime series, and one of them is also a Japanese manga series Baby Steps, published on April 6, 2014, on NHK Educational TV Network. The series was created by Katsuhiko Chiba, while Masahiko Murata is directing it. The Season 2 shortly followed after the first one as it was taken up again on September 9, 2014, and published on April 5, 2015, one year later.
Baby Steps – Summary of the series
The story of the series is centered around Eiichirō Maruo, who is a very good student who obeyed all the rules. Upon finding out that Natsu Takasaki has joined Southern Tennis Club, he takes on the decision to do the same thing. Soon he starts getting to know her and what he finds out is that she is quite an ordinary girl who loved tennis from the very young age. He obviously starts to like her but now has the problem of how to make her notice him. She has been training tennis from her childhood, but he is far from being a professional in this sport. And to make things even worse, his opponents are players with lots of experience. He finds a solution in his intellect.
He started to observe the game from another perspective. Our main character begins to study the movements and tactics of his opponents, trying to get to know their “game.” He knows that that is his only chance of winning. Very soon, these tactics of his become noticed by some people who can help him on his path.
In Season 2 he decides to make himself a professional.
Baby Steps Season 3 Release Date
Season 2 ended on September 20, 2015, but there is still no news on its sequel as Pierrot studio decides to remain silent. But the fans are not losing hope, they like to think that producers are currently working on Season 3.
