U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch is expecting to receive the findings and recommendations of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FB) and career prosecutors on their investigation in th  use of personal e-mail server by Hillary Clinton when she was the Secretary of State.

The FBI is investigating whether the Democratic presidential candidate mishandled classified information by using a private server for her personal and governmental communications during her tenure as Secretary of State.

Last year, Mrs. Clinton apologized for using the server and said she should have used two email accounts—one for State Department business and another for personal matters. Mrs. Clinton also said she did nothing wrong.

According to Lynch, the career supervisors of the Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI as well as the FBI director will review the recommendations, which will be presented to her. She also acknowledged that her meeting with former President Bill Clinton “cast a shadow” on the investigation.

“I fully expect to accept their recommendations. The final determination for how to proceed will be contained in the recommendations in the report,” said Lynch at the Aspen Ideas Festival in Colorado.

Lynch emphasized that she will be “informed of those finding, as opposed to never reading them or never seeing them.”

Meeting with Bill Clinton has no bearing on the e-mail investigation

The Attorney General received criticisms after her meeting with former Pres. Bill Clinton on board an aircraft, which described as a purely “social” and has no bearing on the investigation of Mrs. Clinton’s e-mails.

According to Lynch, “He spoke to me and he spoke to my husband for some time on the plane and then we moved on.”

Texas Senator John Cornyn commented that the meeting warrants the appointment of a special prosecutor to continue the investigation into Clinton’s use of personal e-mail server.

Cornyn said, “This incident does nothing to instill confidence in the American people that her department can fully and fairly conduct this investigation.”

In a message posted on Twitter (NASDAQ:TWTR), Donald Trump suggested that the meeting showed that the political system in the United Stated was “rigged” and Mrs. Clinton had bad judgment. Trump tweeted,” Take a look at what happened w/ Bill Clinton. The system is totally rigged. Does anybody really believe that meeting was just a coincidence?

Lynch will not recuse herself

Lynch also stressed that she not recuse herself from her role. She said, “A recusal would mean that I wouldn’t even be briefed on what the findings were, or what the actions going forward would be. While I don’t have a role in those findings and coming up with those findings or making those recommendations as to how to go forward, I’ll be briefed on it and I will be accepting their recommendations.”

The Attorney General also expressed regret about her meeting with Bill Clinton. She said, “I certainly wouldn’t do it again. Because I think it has cast a shadow. The most important thing for me as attorney general is the integrity of this Department of Justice. And the fact that the meeting I had is now casting a shadow over how people will view that work is something that I take seriously and deeply and painfully.”
