Atlanta Falcons Make A Statement While Ending Cardinals’ Season

Atlanta has their faith in their own hands. They have the lead in their division and need to avoid that bad second half of the season that they had last year. They made a big statement against the Cardinals on their home turf.

This loss means that Cardinals are pretty much done in their own division. Arizona went into this match with a must-win mentality, but in the second half, they just weren’t on Falcons’ level. Atlanta made all plays that they needed to make in the final period of the game. In the end, the duel was a blowout with the final score set to 38:19 after that tight 14:13 first half.

Matt Ryan continued his MVP campaign and was at his best against Arizona. He finished the game 26/34 for 269 yards and two scores with only one pick. He is having the best year of his career, and it looks like the Falcons won’t repeat last season’s horrible latter part of the campaign.

Arizona was a team that was picked to win the NFC before this season started. We are 12 weeks into it, and they have only 4 wins. There is no way that they are going to be able to catch the Seahawks even if they win all of their remaining games.

Changes will take place in Arizona there is no doubt about that. Ariens will likely stay, but he should be on a thin ice. Cardinals have failed to meet the expectations and the blame should also be on their coach.
