Could Atlanta Falcons Challenge Panthers For Divisional Crown?

Before the season started, Panthers were considered as favorites to win their division. They were picked as one of the teams that could reach the Super Bowl. Just three weeks into the season, they aren’t looking like we thought they would. Something is just missing. Could the Falcons challenge them for the divisional title?

After a win in New Orleans last night, the Falcons are 2-1 and are leading the division. A loss in Week 1 to the Buccaneers at home didn’t discourage them, and they won their next two duels. Their offense is balling at the moment; Matt Ryan has been nothing short of sensational in the last two games, and their running game is flourishing.

Atlanta has two backs that could easily start on many other teams in the NFL and they used that advantage last night where their RBs ran for a total of 4 touchdowns. We don’t need to talk much about Julio Jones and what he can do. And there is also Sanu who can be a dangerous wide receiver number two.

These two teams will meet in Week 4 in Atlanta. This is a huge game and Panthers need to bring their best to beat this high-powered offense.

If Falcons win, they will have a two-game advantage. Carolina should still be favored to win this division, but they absolutely need to win this match. Being down two games to their divisional rival is a dangerous spot to be in.

And these Falcons were also very good in the first half of last season. Don’t forget, Panthers’ one loss that had last season was the work of squad from Atlanta. Even though this team can be a threat to Panthers, Carolina should still be favored. But, that can very well change with Week 4 matchups.
