Apple Inc. (AAPL) Will Parse iOS 9 For ‘Predictive’ Use, Just Like Google Inc (GOOG)

Apple Cupertino headquarters

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) prefers to call the new version of the iOS, Proactive, and is hoping to make it as ‘predictive’ in nature as that of Google’s Now feature. The iOS 9, is expected to make its way on the next iPhone iteration.

Proactive features

Apple Inc. is looking to ramp the operating systems on its devices to automatically relate to the users behavior, and respond with data they may anticipate, even as they ask for it.

Google Now already has a feature which will ‘guess’ the next move of user and perform a function. For example if a ticket for a show is in the Passbook folder, the iOS is expected to show the ticket, even without the user needing to click for it, when the user is headed to the match.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) new feature addition will work on swipe function. This feature will be available by swiping to the left from the home button. This is exactly how Google Now too appears on Androids.

On the new Proactive screen, people can search for information using their phone. While this feature is very similar to what Google Now’s Spotlight will do, there will be slight change here for Proactive.

Siri feature will be introduced with a new interface. This will allow it to offer information automatically from other sources such as contacts as well as apps.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) hopes to be able to predict the behavior of its users and auto-complete tasks they may want to engage with. This could be simple but important tasks as calling somebody on a Sunday afternoons. Here the contacts will be automatically reached. Secondly, maps too will be used for predictive premise.
