Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) Expected To Enhance Camera Features In iPhone 6

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is planning to upgrade camera of the much awaited and rumoured iPhone 6, according to the Taiwanese sources. The featured camera of the phone would be ten megapixels that is more than eight megapixels in current iPhone models.

Enhanced camera features

The Taiwanese sources claim that the camera would also have a new lens with enhanced picture quality. Apart from the lens and megapixels, the iPhone maker would attach a new filter allowing a clearer picture. A report from MacRumours said that the hybrid filter will be replaced with the new filter in the iPhone 6, which will be a resin filter manufactured by Japanese company JSR.

The Cupertino California based company is expected to showcase iPhone 6 in Apple’s annual developer conference, to be held, in June, at San Francisco. Historically, the company has always launched new products in this event. Latest handsets would be available for sale in the showrooms within a week of launch.

Two iPhones expected

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 6 is expected to be launched in two sizes, one with a 4.7 inch screen and the other with a 5.7 inches display, according to numerous reports.

Chinese language website QQ stated that Apple will reveal the follow up of its flagship smartphone in two different sizes citing Chinese analyst Sun Changxu. According to Changxu, the iPhone 6 will have a screen size of 4.7 inches and a display resolution of 1,136 by 640 pixels, whereas other model will have 5.7 inch display.

iPhone to get slimmer

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) took everyone by surprise last year when it launched super slim iPad Air and according to the reports and speculations the company might be under process of making a slimmer iPhone 6, as well. Web has been flooded with various concept designs of Apple iPhone 6, but two concepts that recently emerged show a slimmer chassis of the phone with a larger display of around 5 inch screen similar to Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One.

In the first picture, the phone is codenamed iPhone Air, which will be 4.5 mm thick, and the second picture shows slimmer version with 1.5 mm at the top and 3 mm at the bottom. Currently, the Apple’s iPhone has depth of 7.6 mm, whereas iPad Air is thinner at 7.5 mm.
