There have always been talks about how WWE handled Lex’s push in the early 90s. He didn’t draw quite as much as Vince McMahon expected and that is why he decided not to give him the Royal Rumble win in 1994. He was afraid to make a new star, and he didn’t set this guy to finish the epic battle as a winner.
