Hyde has been solid for 49ers. In recent years he was their best RB option. He proved himself to San Francisco franchise so much that because of him they parted ways with Frank Gore. His contract is expiring, and the market will be interested in him. Last season he recorded eight touchdowns and ran for almost 1,000 yards. The reason why 49ers are going to let him go is that they are building around Garroppolo and all of their money will be invested in offensive line and receivers.
