German automaker Audi is preparing a treat for us, and it carries the name of Audi Q3. The company is already developing this vehicle, and we have recently acquired a few spy photos to prove it!
2020 Audi Q3 Release Date
As you can see the car is heavily camouflaged, but we’ll just have to make do with what we have until the official reveal. Q3 is expected to arrive in 2019 as a 2023 model and judging from these photos and the fact that this is Audi we do not expect many surprises when it comes to looks and design.
The car is quite similar to the Q5 however it is quite smaller, and it has a more dynamically proportioned body.
MQB design platform underpins the Q3, and it is used by the Volkswagen Group for non-premium mid-size models and compact vehicles.
The Q3 will run on turbocharged inline-4 engines however a plug-in hybrid variation is also on the table. We expect this hybrid option to arrive slightly after the launch. It has been speculated that there will be the RS Q3 again that bears the same 400 hp 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-5 that we saw in the latest RS3. To make things even better for Audi-lovers from America, the company will offer the RS Q3 there this time.
2020 Audi Q3 is just one of the five new SUVs the company has been working on. Besides this model, we have the electric e-tron and e-tron Sportback versions and the Q4 and Q8 coupe-looking models. There have been rumors that the company is also working on a Q1 subcompact SUV that is based on its next-generation A1, but we have no tangible evidence to prove it.
