You all know that the time for LA Auto Show is nearing and thanks to that fact you also know that the whole bunch of teasers is heading our way. First in line is the teaser that is coming from the German car giant and the teaser is all about their upcoming 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLS.

There are few things that are already known about the new 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLS, like the fact that it will be an all-new model and it will be updating its luxury four-door coupe look with a new one that basically rips off the styling cues from E-Class and S-Class Coupes both on the outside and inside. The chassis will be underpinned by the new MRA (Modular Rear Architecture) platform, which also holds the E-Class. As for the cabin, we know that company will update its old tech to Mercedes’s new-gen interior technology suite with the automaker’s Mbrace connectivity.

A prototype of the new CLS was recently unveiled in San Francisco, and that was very helpful because we managed to find out that the 2019 version will be coming in the US as the CLS450 or CLS450 4Matic – the all-wheel-drive model. Both of these will make use of the same Benz’s inline six-cylinder engine that produces 367 HP, 369 pound-feet of torque, plus they will both be aided by the automaker’s 48-volt EQ-Power mild hybrid system which will allow for a lot smoother stop-start anti-idling tech to save fuel.

Unfortunately, that is it for now since Mercedes is keeping mouth and doors shut on this one, but as the 2017 LA Auto Show is just around the corner, we will very gladly report back with everything we see and hear. That is the way to make sure you get all the facts straight and all the info 100% correct. Until then, take care and stay close!

My name is Miloš Kalajdžić and I come from Brčko DC in Bosnia. I was born on July 20 th 1988 and so far I obtained a BSc in economics and one year of working experience in my field of study. I am a very hard-working person who leaves nothing unfinished and halfway done. When I commit to something I give my best to make sure that everything is done the way as it is supposed to be. I like cars and everything that comes with them. My passion are American muscle cars, but unfortunately the closest I managed to come near one is behind my laptop watching an image of the new Chevy or Dodge and writing about it. But that’s ok I’m still optimistic. When I’m not behind the laptop writing I’m on the streets and auto shows admiring all stuff rolling on four wheels being propelled by a petrol engine!
