2019 Audi S7 caught!

One of our favorite coupe-sedans is preparing for one more model year. Although it is due to arrive sometime in 2019, we can not wait to see it live and without camo!

Most of us have probably forgotten who started the coupe-sedan look (Mercedes Benz CLS) because Audi took it so fast with its beefy proportions, sleek and elegant exterior and Kammback rear end that took us by surprise. This elegant four-door is about to undergo a complete redesign, and we have the images of its sporty brother the S7.

What you see in the pictures must be a prototype for the S7 because of the huge wheels and brake discs that take up entire space of the wheel housing, together with the proportionally big brake caliper that could stop the Boeing 747. What is another giveaway of the S segment for Audi’s vehicles is the four exhaust tips under the back bumper. Under the hood of this bad boy must be something awesome, but what, we still do not know. A sure bet must be a new 2.9-liter twin turbocharged V6 that just came from the VW Group and debuted in 2017 Porsche Panamera 4S with more than enough grunt at 440 HP.

The RS7 trim will make V8 fans happy because it is very likely that it will host a version of the VW Group’s twin turbocharged 4.0 L V8 that was seen in 2017 Panamera Turbo. Reports suggest that it should be offered with a slight change in the form of the electric compressor which will have a task of reducing the lag (debuted in 2017 SQ7 TDI). Though unconfirmed yet Audi may make an electric A7 together with Q6 e-tron which will be introduced in 2018. This model was hinted by Audi CEO Rupert Stadler in July who said that by 2024 two more EV’s will join the Audi family, we don’t see why A7 would be out of the question.

A7 and S7 models might land in showrooms sometime in 2018 and will be advertised as 2019 models. Be patient as the time flies fast enough.
