When you think of convertibles, the first associations are warm and sunny weather with a light breeze, but Mercedes decided to unveil its new E-Class Cabriolet in cold Geneva, Switzerland. There has already been a lot of information about this vehicle, and it has even been tested, but it is so heart-warming to see the new luxurious convertible sitting at the podium in Geneva.

The convertible will differ from the E-Class sedan whose E300 model is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 engine. On the other hand, the Cabriolet will be available in E400 guise which means that it will sport a 3.0-liter biturbo V6 unit that delivers 329 ponies. According to the German company, the 2018 Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet can complete the 0-60 mph run in 5.5 seconds, which is a time for the RWD variant, but there is also the 4Matic AWD E-Cab that will be slightly slower, of course.

Mercedes takes care of its customers, and you can even drive the car with the soft top down on colder days because the Aircap and Airscarf systems will make sure that you are warm and protected from the wind. The interior is everything we got used to seeing from Mercedes – luxury, high-quality materials and functionality. Furthermore, the seats are extremely comfortable, and even the adults can occupy the rear seats, but it is not recommended during longer rides.
