GMC today thankfully announced prices for their 2018 Terrain, and according to this report, it will range from $25,970 to more than $40,200 depending on what you add to your vehicle. The sales will start this summer, and most of us just can’t wait.

At the launch, the only engine option you will have is the 2.0 L turbo unit producing 252 HP, but slightly later GMC will add 1.5 L turbo making 170 HP, as well as a 1.6 L turbodiesel with 137 HP to the engine lineup so you can have your pick. The two petrol units will be tied to the nine-speed automatic transmission, while the diesel unit will have to make do with a six-speed one.

The last but not least is the Denali trim, and it will offer you upgraded 2.0 L engine with some other goodies like navigation, hands-free power liftgate, and a heated steering wheel. But this will not come cheap, the top of the line version will cost you $38,495 with FWD setup and $40,245 if you opt for all-wheel drive configuration. As you already know, the GMC Terrain is very closely tied to the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox which is already on sale, and it starts at just $24,475.

I like cars and everything that comes with them. My passion are American muscle cars, but unfortunately the closest I managed to come near one is behind my laptop watching an image of the new Chevy or Dodge and writing about it. But that’s ok I’m still optimistic. When I’m not behind the laptop writing I’m on the streets and auto shows admiring all stuff rolling on four wheels being propelled by a petrol engine!
