The new mysterious Chevrolet model has been spotted near GM headquarters, and to be honest, we cannot tell whether it is the latest 2018 Traverse or TrailBlazer. This unidentified vehicle will be another addition to the Chevy lineup, but let’s take a look at the spy shots and try to see what car is it that under the camouflage.

The first vehicle that comes to our mind is the 2017 GMC Acadia mostly because the test model has about the same size and shape. It is too large to be the Equinox, but on the other hand, it is too small to be a brand-new Traverse. According to some industry experts, the new car is called “Blazer,” but could it be that the American automaker decided to bring back this SUV?

So, what can be seen on the camouflaged model? First of all, this vehicle features thin and horizontally positioned headlights and these lamps together with the grille are definitely common for a Chevrolet. Furthermore, some parts are similar to the ones from Equinox, whereas door mirror mountings and the A-pillar resemble those we are getting from Acadia.

We know for sure that this vehicle will be based on the C1XX platform that is also used for the Acadia, Buick Enclave, and many other cars. This mysterious SUV will most likely sport a 3.6-liter V6 that will be combined with a nine-speed automatic transmission, but we cannot recognize this version at the moment.

Nevertheless, we expect to tell you more about this car very soon as more details will certainly emerge shortly. Rumors and previous reports suggest that it should be presented next year, probably at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Stay tuned for more details.
