The first photos of the 2018 Buick Regal have leaked ahead of its official debut in China, and there are no surprises when it comes to the design of the new model.

The China-bound Buick Regal will join the Holden Commodore and Opel/Vauxhall Insignia, and it has the same styling as these vehicles. The only difference is that Buick will receive distinctive badges and its familiar waterfall front grille. There is not much information about the new Buick Regal that will be launched in China, while the version intended for the US market will be almost identical to the one you see in the photos.

Engine

In China, the customers will have a choice between three engine options for their 2018 Buick Regal. The first unit that will be under the hood of the new Regal is the 1.5-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder that produces 163 hp. The other two options that will be offered are a 2.0-liter turbo powerplant good for 254 horses and the hybrid that will combine a 1.8-liter gasoline engine with a small electric motor for the complete output of 123 horsepower.
