2018 BMW 6 Series – Design Refresh


The third generation BMW 6 Series was launched back in 2011, but even after six years, this car is one of the most beautiful vehicles in the premium mid-size segment. It has been available in coupe and convertible version, and for the US market, the 6 Series is ready for some cosmetic tweaks.

The 2018 BMW 6 Series for our shores will come out with some additional features in the M Sport Package, which will from now on contain new 20-inch M bi-color wheels with a double-spoke design. The wheels will be wrapped in run flat tires, whereas a carbon fiber interior trim is also an update for a new model.

Furthermore, a new color named “Sonic Speed Blue Metallic” will be an additional choice for the customers. What is great about German car maker is that they offer a wide array of colors, equipment or high-end leather upholsteries and you only need to access the BMW individual catalog. If you want to customize your car for it to be unique, be ready to pay for these extra parts.


Price, Release Date and Engine

You will be able to find the 2018 BMW 6 Series in the US from next spring, but the prices are not familiar yet. There are no changes under the hood of the new model. The new model will sport a turbocharged 3.0-liter I6 unit that is good for 315 hp. Moreover, a 4.4-liter V8 powerplant will also be offered, and it pumps out impressive 445 horses.

The prototypes of the next-generation have already been spotted on the streets, which indicates that the introduction of the new 6 Series will be by the end of 2017 or at the beginning of 2018. Final tests are underway, so we are positive that this vehicle will be announced soon.
