Audi is getting ready to unveil the all-new Audi A8 2018 luxury sedan on July 11 this year, and it appears that the release date of the new car is just perfect. Until we can see it introduced in its full glory, here is one idea of what the new A8 may look like.
This is the latest rendering that is a courtesy of Jan Peisert, and we can clearly see that the new model is based on the prototype that has been spotted recently and of which we have delivered spy photos. The upcoming fourth-generation Audi A8 will take some design elements from other company’s models such as the new SQ5 crossover, the latest TT coupe and even from the Prologue Avant concept.
What you see here is probably the best look at the 2018 Audi A8 so far as this luxury sedan is expected to be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September when we will get more details about prices, possible powertrains and many other things we still do not know. Once it goes on sale, the automaker’s flagship vehicle will go against cars such as Mercedes-Benz S-Class which was launched three years ago and BMW 7 Series that hit the market in 2016.
Another huge rival of the Audi A8 is going to be Lexus LS that has just entered the race, but should we even mention the Maserati Quattroporte which has been with us since 2013? We almost forgot about the Jaguar XJ, that is the oldest of them all considering that it went on sale back in 2009.
Below, you can see the rendering of the 2018 Audi A8 and in the meanwhile, follow us for more details about this and many other models. What do you think of the A8 luxury sedan?
