2017 Tesla Model X went on sale at the end of 2016 and in this article, you can see what to expect if you decide to buy this model.
The base car Model X P60D has a starting price $111,900 and its driving range is 350km on one charge. However, if you opt for the top trim P100D model you can cross 542km on one charge.
The four-wheel drive is standard for all the versions of Model X and the top speed is 210km/h, but it is not advisable to try it. According to Tesla measurements, it takes 6.2 seconds for the P60D on a 0-100km/h run. The top-shelf Model X P100D can go from 0-100km/h in just 3.1 seconds. However, this is only possible if you switch on the upgraded Ludicrous Mode.
The buyers will be able to choose between cars with six or seven seats. Both contain the extra two seats, but the one with seven seats will have supplementary heating and cooling.
This car can also brag with the autopilot which allows semi-automatic parking and radar cruise control. Moreover, the charging capacity is upgraded from 48A to 72A and the car is able to tow vehicles lighter than 2300kg.
As for the interior, the quality of sound is better since there are 17 speakers. During the cold weather the seats, steering wheel and the wipers on the widescreen will be heated. The front seats can be ventilated and the interior uses LEDs as well as the headlights. In addition to that, HEPA air filtration unit, fog lights, and Alcantara headliner are parts of the Premium interior package.
