2017 Mazda CX-9 Adds More Standard Features Without Changing The Price

The 2017 Mazda CX-9 will come with the same $31,520 price tag even it has received some new standard features.

The base trim Mazda CX-9 Sport will have identical features like before. Some of those are 18-icn wheels, LED lighting units, Connect Infotainment system with Commander Control and a 7-inch color display. Moreover, the entry-level comes with fabric seating surfaces, electronic parking brake, reversing camera and trailer assist.

The mid-range CX-9 is called Touring, and it will come with the standard Smart City Brake Support which used to be offered as an option for this trim. This version carries the starting price of $35,970, and it features an 8-inch touchscreen, keyless entry, power liftgate and Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert to name a few.

The next vehicle in the lineup is the Grand Touring which costs $40,470, and it has the same equipment as the previous two models, but it also adds 20-inch wheels, radar-guided cruise control with smart brake support and roof rails. Furthermore, some of the additional safety features are included such as lane departure warning, lane keep assist together with adaptive front lighting, high-beam control, head-up display and memory settings for the driver seat.

At the top of the range is the CX-9 Signature which is the only trim that has all-wheel drive as standard. This system comes with 27 sensors, and it determines how much power each wheel gets, but besides that, the top trim comes with LED signature grille lighting, Auburn-colored Nappa leather, rosewood from the Japanese guitar producer Fujigen and LED accent lighting around the gear shifter. The price of the 2017 Mazda CX-9 Signature model is $44,315.

The 2017 Mazda CX-9 is powered by the 2.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine good for 250 horses and 310 lb-ft of torque on 93-octane gasoline and 227 hp and the same amount of torque on 87-octane.
