If you open the Italian dictionary and look up the word “superveloce” you will see that it means “superfast.” The name tells you a lot about the new model from Lamborghini lineup, but we will go into details later. For now, we just want to say that the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce is a roadster and only 500 open-top units will be manufactured.

Exterior

The redesigned front fascia of the new vehicle comes with sharp lines, and the lower part of the fascia has one carbon fiber wing and one in body color. All of the design revisions on the new Lamborghini are not done in order to change the styling but to increase the performance because when it comes to Aventador, everything is about performance. The aerodynamics of the car have been enhanced significantly and compared to the standard Aventador, this one comes with 170% more downforce.

In order to assemble the 2017 Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4, Superveloce different, top quality, materials were used. Thus we have the side vents produced out of carbon fiber, rear fenders and rocker covers made out of the glass-fiber reinforced polyester, while for the front fenders and doors the engineers used aluminum. Compared to the Aventador LP 700-4, the 2017 Aventador 750-4 is 110 lb lighter.

The parts that you can find on the rear end of the car are a large rear diffuser with vertical fins, quad central tailpipes, plus the engine cover and rear spoiler, both of which are made of carbon fiber, while the latter can be manually adjusted. The Superveloce comes with lightweight matt-black forged 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the back covered in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. Lamborghini offers six exterior color options, but with the Ad Personam custom program, you can choose literally anything according to your own liking.

Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4  Interior

The Superveloce’s interior looks like the cabin of a race vehicle rather than a road car. It differs from the standard Aventador in a way that it comes without power seats and other things like that. The center console and sills are the part of the carbon fiber monocoque, while for the seat shells, carbon fiber has also been used.

The instrument panel is brand new, and the TFT screen features the yellow background that draws attention, while the RPM shifting indicator is in light blue. Parts of the dashboard are made of woven carbon fiber fabric, so is the headliner. Even though that this is a roadster and performance is what this car is all about, the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce does have trunk space – not much, but it exists.

Performance

We haven’t mentioned it so far, but the 2017 Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce is an AWD vehicle that is equipped with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 powerplant that produces breath-taking 750 horses. The maximum torque output is 507 lb-ft, and the engine is connected with a seven-speed automated manual transmission, which is the fastest gearbox manufactured and it is capable of 50-milisecond shifts, as Lamborghini stated.

The Superveloce goes from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds, while it takes the car only 8.6 seconds to accelerate to 124 mph. According to Lamborghini, the maximum speed of the 2017 Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce is over 217 mph. Well, it isn’t called “superfast” for nothing, so don’t be surprised with these numbers.

Features

What is odd is that the 2017 Aventador 750-4 Superveloce doesn’t have the infotainment system. The reason why there is none is that Lamborghini wants you to focus on driving, but they also wanted to shed as much weight as possible. However, the infotainment system can be installed if you want it.

Another interesting feature is a special control unit that allows you to install and use Lamborghini Track and Play app on your smartphone. With this app, you will get precise data, and you can use it to measure lap time via GPS.

The 2017 Lamborghini Aventador 750-4 Superveloce is a beast, but it looks nothing like the LP 700-4. What do you think about this vehicle?
