2017 Kia Picanto – Everything We Know So Far

2017 Kia Picanto will debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show and after that, it will reach dealers. However, you don’t need to wait for the show in order to see the look of the new car, since photos have appeared on the internet.

Exterior

This city car will apparently be more spacious than the ongoing version. Furthermore, in comparison with Hyundai i10, the brand-new Picanto will come out with a sportier design. One picture clearly shows us the front end and Kia will not going to left out their Tiger Nose grille. In addition, the car will come with a gaping front grille, whereas the bumper will be muscular. There will also be some details made of chrome.

The third-generation Picanto may be a bit longer and wider from the current version, but otherwise, it will look almost identical. We don’t know much about the exterior design because the whole car has been camouflaged.

Interior

As for the interior, the passengers will have slightly more space and the dashboard and center console will be tidier, since they will not include some buttons which are available on the current model. Also, the high-quality materials will be used the cabin as a whole.

The seats in the top trim will come with a part-leather construction, whereas those in the entry-lever might remain identical as in the present version.

Engine

Picanto will most probably come with a 1.0-liter V3 engine that produces 65 bhp. Another option will be offered within the range and that is 1.25-liter V4 rated at 85 bhp. A five-speed manual transmission will be offered, but an automatic gearbox is also going to be an option.
