If you loved Honda Pilot once it came out on sale, we got some great news for you, since the second model year will come with numerous improvements in the cabin and it will be even better.

This seven-seat SUV will be equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto from now on. In addition, an expanded interior color palette will be added together with a new fingerprint-resistant touchscreen.

Honda Division senior general manager and vice president, Jeff Conrad said:”The all-new third-generation Pilot has been a huge hit with SUV buyers. For 2017, we’re making Pilot even more appealing with new technology and options that our customers are seeking.”

The new Pilot can brag with a 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 petrol engine rated at 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. The company will offer two-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive together with two gearbox options – a six-speed automatic and a nine-speed automatic transmission which will be available on upper trims.

The Honda’s Intelligent Terrain Management System will be offered across the range, and the customers will be able to choose several driving modes. By activating the system, you will be able to adjust transmission shift map, drive-by-wire map as well as Vehicle Stability Assist. Furthermore, the i-VTM4 torque distribution for AWD models is also controlled by the system.

The starting price of the 2017 Honda Pilot is $30,595 for the two-wheel-drive LX version. If you opt for an AWD LX, it will set you back at least $32,395.
