There is no doubt that the Civic has been one of the most successful cars produced by Honda. They will introduce the new 10th generation of cars with the 2017 Honda Civic hatchback.

Recently, a lot of concept cars have appeared, while teaser videos have circulated the internet, which is a normal thing, considering that the new Honda is appealing. It is expected that the 2017 Civic appears on the market in early 2017 for Europe after which, it will find its way to the US soil.

The 2016 Paris Motor Show is where the Honda will be presented and it will certainly draw a lot of attention. In the UK it will appear as a hatchback with five doors.

The 2017 Honda Civic presents an important step forward for the Japanese automaker and the car is developed in various different aspects. Firstly, Honda Civic will come with the new turbo units, so if you like cars you will certainly love the new Civic.

As it seems, the two, completely new turbocharged petrol engines will be installed in the new vehicle. However, at the beginning, there will be no diesel option which might be introduced later. The first option is the 127bhp 1.0-liter V3 turbo with either six-speed manual or CVT.

The other more powerful unit is 1.5-liter V4 that produces 180bhp with the same transmission options. We don’t know anything about the performance figures and fuel consumption, but hopefully, the announcements will be made soon.

The 2017 Honda Civic will be on sale in 70 countries and because of that, the Japanese automaker is looking to almost completely revise their 1.6-liter i-DTEC diesel in 2017. The newly overhauled model will have better performance and fuel economy.

A hybrid option is also possible and if Honda decides to produce it, we expect to see a bitter rivalry between a hybrid Civic and the Toyota Prius. It seems that the new 10th generation of Honda Civic will be even more successful than the previous generations of this car.
