The Ford F-150 Raptor is one of the best vehicles for off-road driving, but no matter what equipment and technology it contains, it all boils down to driver’s ability to control the vehicle. From now on, Ford will include the Raptor Assault program to the Ford Performance Racing School at the Utah Motorsports Campus in Grantsville.

According to Blue Oval, the classroom sessions and “extensive course time” are offered to the drivers that will be able to learn how to drive the off-road performance truck on rough roads and slippery terrain. This is a great opportunity for those who would like to try off-road driving for the first time and to do it properly with the help of trained professionals.

These classes include “rock crawling, Baja runs, high-speed driving, side-hilling, descending and braking.” Furthermore, the owners will drive in all six driving modes that are available in Terrain Management System. What is great is that Ford offers a one-day program for free to those who plan to purchase or lease the new Raptor. The people will also, if they want, take a second day of instruction on track with the Mustang GT, but unlike the first day, this tutorial is not for free.

The Raptor Assault program is just one course out of many offered at the Ford Performance Racing School. There are also ST Octane Academy and RS Adrenaline Academy for hot-hatch buyers, and there is even the GT350 Track Attack program for those who own an incredible Shelby Mustang. Hopefully, the Ford GT owners will also get a program that will be even more extensive.
