For all of those, and we believe there are lots, who got disappointed by Ford Motor Company’s decision to put the V6 in their 2017 F-150 Raptor do not despair, we found something that will instantly lift your mood! Apparently, there are a lot of tuning shops, with a good reputation, offering the 2017 F-150 based performance pickups that have that unforgettable V8 roar.

Among these is the somewhat semi-official Ford tuner – Roush which decided to bring joy to all F-150 fans by unveiling, at last week’s SEMA show, their 2017 F-150 Nitemare with the V8 engine inside. If you are a hardcore fan, then you know that Roush teamed up with Ford before, and it was for a prior version of the Nitemare F-150. That previous version packed the supercharged 5.4-liter V8 that was able to deliver 445 HP and 500 lb-ft of torque. Admirable but nothing compared to 2017 edition in which Roush decided to put supercharged 5.0-liter V8 monster that spits out 600 HP and 557 lb-ft of torque. Now that is amazing and worthy of any awe.

Roush knows its stuff definitely, because when you pair a supercar power with the lightweight aluminum construction of the latest F-150 than you can only imagine how quick and fierce this vehicle is. Well, to kinda give you a general idea here is a 0-60 MPH run time, that is according to Roush, only 4.2 seconds which makes this truck one of a kind and “quickest factory street truck in the world”.

But don’t think that you can just exchange the engine and whoosh it goes. No, this tuner house made several additional changes that include a high-flow exhaust system, a custom grille, and front bumper cover plus a 20 inch forged wheels with performance rubber. They also decided to offer an option where you can choose from the two-wheel or all-wheel drive. For those who have off road appetites, Roush made sure you have the choice of adding a full Fox suspension system and Mickey Thompson tires at your disposal. One thing that we do not know, yet, is the price range for this monster of a vehicle, but be sure that we will find out soon, and you will be first to know.

My name is Miloš Kalajdžić and I come from Brčko DC in Bosnia. I was born on July 20 th 1988 and so far I obtained a BSc in economics and one year of working experience in my field of study. I am a very hard-working person who leaves nothing unfinished and halfway done. When I commit to something I give my best to make sure that everything is done the way as it is supposed to be. I like cars and everything that comes with them. My passion are American muscle cars, but unfortunately the closest I managed to come near one is behind my laptop watching an image of the new Chevy or Dodge and writing about it. But that’s ok I’m still optimistic. When I’m not behind the laptop writing I’m on the streets and auto shows admiring all stuff rolling on four wheels being propelled by a petrol engine!
