Marco Wittman is the 2016 DTM Driver’s Champion, but he also won this title back in 2014. He raced for BMW, and this is why the German automaker decided to create a special edition to honor him. In order to celebrate these victories, special edition M4 models were introduced by the company with only a small number of cars that went on sale. For the latest Marco Wittman’s victory, he will get the BMW M4 in Java Green.

The Java Green M4, which you can see in the pictures here, is designed for Wittman only and this vehicle will not be available in the dealerships. He liked the car and stated that the new BMW is his “company car,” complementing the green paint job saying that it “suits me very well.” BMW has made a lot of special edition cars in the past, and this comes as no surprise. Even Marc Marquez who races for Repsol Honda received one of the special edition models.

Marco Wittman had a say when it came to choosing the aerodynamic parts for his new vehicle. Some of the parts on the new “Wittmann” edition are carbon rear diffuser and high-gloss black front grille slats. There is also a rear spoiler as well plus the side panel attachments. There is no doubt that this BMW M4 looks outstanding.

In the cabin, you can find a carbon gear selector lever and new pedal pads. LED-illuminated door sills are added as well, and the interior is not as lavish as the car body, but this is what Wittman wants, after all, this car is designed for Wittman’s needs only.

The BMW M4 is equipped with a 3.0-liter twin turbo I6 engine good for 425 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque allowing it to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds whereas the top speed is limited to 155 mph. This may not be the performance Wittman is used to, but the M4 is a powerful car. Enjoy your new ride, Marco, because you deserved it.
