Another iconic British car will make its first ever public appearance ahead of its official sales start, to demonstrate to the future buyers what it can really do. The 2017 Aston Martin DB11 will debut in Australia at the Classic Adelaide Rally where it will be put through its paces by the Formula One veteran and Le Mans winner, Vern Schuppan. The people at Aston Martin conceived this event very cleverly where the potential buyers will have an opportunity to see the car in action around the Adelaide Hills and get close to it and feel it for the first time, right before they decide to buy it.

The event is scheduled for two days – Friday 18 November and Saturday 19 November and it is a part of the Classic Adelaide Rally’s “Marque Tour”. On November 20th the DB11 will be displayed during the Victoria Park Sprint event, and it will have an honor to be parked right alongside Schuppan’s iconic “Almond Green” Aston Martin DB2 originally supplied in 1952 and recently restored in South Australia.

The DB11 will be powered by a 5.2-liter twin turbocharged V12 powerplant producing 600 HP and 516 lb-ft of torque, and traditionally all that power will be sent to the rear wheels over the rear mounted eight-speed automatic transmission and a mechanical limited-slip differential with active torque vectoring. All of this means that the DB11 will be able to make a sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 200 mph.

2017 Aston Martin DB11 Price

All of this will come wrapped in a price tag of $395,000 plus on-road costs, which is an OK price for the car in question. For further updates stay tuned because more detailed information regarding the 2017 Aston Martin DB11 will surely surface in the upcoming days.
